District VIII VP Columns - Info Submittal If you would like to see something placed in the AMA District VIII magazine column, please include a cover letter and then the information you would like to see published. Whenever possible, I will give credit to authors or photographers, so make sure your cover letter helps me in that regard. Priority in the column will be to items I deem necessary for organizational concerns. However, special programs or special-interest happenings which standout will be given consideration. Allow several months for something to appear and observe the following guidelines: Please write your information in full: an introduction, further description and conclusion or summary. Please limit your word count to 100 to 150 words. Include several photographs. (Digital photos must be of HIGH RESOLUTION, the equivalent of 300 dpi printed.) Photos should be associated with the body of your text and have recommended captions-- they need to portray images of what you have written.
