Valero Corporation's Thanksgiving Dinner for the Troops

The Fifth Annual Thanksgiving Dinner for the Army Medical Corp Students from Fort Sam Houston, TX.	Dinner was held in Valero's Corporate Hanger at San Antonio International Airport.	12 year old Brian Strachan practices for his special demonstration for the troops.	Texas RC Indoor Club or TRIC Members were invited to perform indoor flying for the Medical Corp troops.	Brian gives us a great smile after his awesome performance for all the troops.	Brian flies to an inspirational song before the troops enjoy their Thanksgiving Dinner.
The troops attending the dinner were all from the Army Medical Department Center and School.	Valero provided a great Thanksgiving Dinner for over 400 young soldiers.	Major General Czerw, superindentant of the AMEDD Medical School and Command Sargent Major Riles spent time meeting with their troops.	Static display of World War II aircraft were placed around the hanger.	B25 Bomber was placed in the middle of the hanger.	P 51D and P 39 fighters were among the planes on display.
The soldiers shows appreciation for the great job Valero did providing a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner to so many soldiers away from their families.	Prizes were raffled off to the troops including indoor flying aircraft.	Girl Scouts presented the colors to start the festivities.	Jim Rice District 8 Vice President introduced Brian Strachan who provided an indoor flying demonstration.	Major General Czerw, takes time to show his appreciation for Brian's excellent flying demonstration.	Brian receives another round of applause from all the troops.

Andy kept aircraft flying all afternoon.	Rick Doucette, TRIC President , fielding many questions from the soldiers about indoor RC flying.	Jim enjoyed entertaining the soldiers with some impressive indoor flying.	Andy and Jim spent the afternoon showing indoor flying techniques.
